This busy block is called Chisholm Trail. We're getting close to the holidays so I couldn't resist using this holly fabric. This block consists of 16 half square triangles. This block is simple and straight forward when piecing the squares and half square triangles. What a pleasant surprise when I put the blocks together for the example quilt layout. This week's block is a Pinwheel block. This block works well in both the 8" and 12" size.
