Adding a New Article

1. Open your Web Browser and browse to the Home Page of your website.

2. From the Home Page, click the login button. Once the login form appears type your user name and password to login.

3. Once logged in, a new menu appears on the right side of the website called the User Menu. Click on the Manage Articles link.

4. Clicking Manage Articles will open a new browser tab to your site's Administration Backend. If you have not logged into your site's Administration Backend previously you will have to login at this point to proceed. To login, simply input the same username and password you used on your site's HomePage and click login.

5. Once logged in you will be taken to your sites Article Manager Component. From the Article Manager, click on the yellow New icon, located top middle of the page, to create a new article.

6. WIth the Add New Article view open, fill in a Title for your new article, select the category from the Category Drop Down list. and finally type or paste your article into the Article Text editor.

7. Next go to the Article Text box, and type or paste your article into the article text editor.
When you're finished writing your article click the Save & Close button, located top right of page, to save the article.

8. Go to the front page of your site and click the refresh button. Your new article will appear as the first article on the page. The front page of the site is set to show 4 articles at this time. When more articles are added it will add pagination navigation, at the bottom, so that people can access earlier articles.
