The Custom Suffixes parameters allow you to set up to twenty custom suffixes that override the default colors and font options for individual modules.
The Custom Suffixes 1-5, 6-10, 11-15 and 16-20 parameters allow you to set up different color and font options that can be utilized with any module suffix. There are nineteen pre-configured color options but any of these can be changed to any color you desire.
Note that the pre-configured color numbers are included in the tool tips if you ever want to go back to the default colors. To access the tool tips just hover over the name of each field.
Suffix Name: Type a name for your suffix. (example: mysuffix or brightblue)
Suffix Color #: Choose a color from the Color Picker Select and copy the color number (Hex) and paste it into the Suffix Color # field
If you would also like to change the fonts do the following:
Activate Styles: Click on the Yes radio button.
Font Family: Choose a font from the drop down menu.
Font Style: Choose a font style from the drop down menu. This font choice will only affect the font within the body of the module that it is assigned to.
Font Color: Choose a color from the Color Picker Select and copy the color number (Hex) and paste it into the Font Color # field.
Font Size: Choose a font size from the drop down menu. Please note that you will need to choose a size that will work with the size of the module space allowed.
Title Font Family: Choose a font from the drop down menu. This font choice will only affect the title font of the module that it is assigned to.
Title Font Color#: Choose a color from the Color Picker Select and copy the color number (Hex) and paste it into the Title Font Color # field.
Take note of the Suffix Name, the preconfigured name or the new name that you created. Click on Apply or Save
To use a custom color and/or the font options, navigate to Extensions > Module Manager. Click on the desired module, such as the login module and locate the Module Class Suffix field, usually located in the Parameters section.
Enter the Suffix Name (example: teal) or the new Suffix Name (example: mysuffix) that you created, into the Module Class Suffix field. Click on Save. Navigate to the front end and refresh or right click and reload to see the color and font changes.
You may set up to twenty color and font options that may be used for any module suffixes by repeating the above instructions. To do this just set up each individual set of color and font options in Custom Suffix 2, Custom Suffix 3, and so on through Custom Suffix 20.
If you want to use the same color and font options over and over you only have to create them once and then use them over and over on any module you desire by typing the Suffix Name into the Module Class Suffix field of any module.
