Following are some keystrokes for the Mac that we find useful. Finder Keystrokes ⌘-shift-A Opens your applications folder
⌘-A Select All
⌘-option-W Closes all finder windows
Type the first letter of the file or document name that you are searching for then tab until you find it. If there are no files with the letter that you typed then the next letter in the alphabet will be highlighted. You can also type more than just the first letter to narrow your search. shift-tab Selects previous item alphabetically ⌘-shift-H Opens your Home folder
option-click on the minimize button minimizes all Finder windows General Keystrokes option-Empty Trash Empties the Trash without asking "Are you sure?" and deletes locked files. ⌘-option-H Hides all windows except the one you're in
⌘-P Print
⌘-I Get Info
⌘-D Duplicate
⌘-E Eject
⌘-C Copy
⌘-V Paste
⌘-Z Undo
Other Keystrokes Option-Drag Copy to new location ⌘-Shift-3 Take a picture of the screen
⌘-Shift-4 Take a picture of the selection
